Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an additional HR Advisor to join our team of highly qualified HR consultants. This is a client facing role, reporting into a n HR Business Partner, working across a diverse portfolio where you’ll be expected to spend time on site with clients and in our central London office.

With investment from Marlowe, we are growing fast and now need to recruit a new HR Advisor to meet the needs of our expanding client portfolio.

The Role

We are looking for an HR Advisor with skills in Employee Relations, Coaching and UK Employment Legislation. The role holder will be required to work across a number of different sectors, supporting a portfolio of clients with their HR agenda. Thisis a fantastic opportunity to build both HR and commercial knowledge and experience. Supported by an HR Assistant(s), and reporting into an HRBP, the successful candidate would deliver a client’s HR function through both onsite and remote support.

The ideal candidate would be

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, working with different clients across different industries
  • Client focused; you will need to deliver excellent service when working onsite and over the phone and email
  • Able to take initiative and you must be comfortable working with a level of ambiguity
  • An effective communicator;you must be able to build rapport and trust with clients through providing support and commercially minded advice
  • A team player, working in partnership with an HR Assistant(s) and reporting to an HRBP
  • Able to manage new client onboarding, reviewing documents as necessary with the support of an HR Assistant
  • Be familiar with the use and deployment of technology as part of the HR function
  • Flexible, adaptable and resilient
  • Willing to travel to different client sites within London two to three times a week?

Areas of Responsibility

  • Providing holistic HR support to a portfolio of clients, led by an HR Business Partner.
  • Advising clients on detailed employee relations issues and providing guidance in relation to current employment law
  • Coaching line managers on appraisals, feedback and general advice
  • Acting as the key adviser and ‘go to person’ for a designated client group
  • Providing commercially focused HR advice to clients across different sectors
  • Overseeing an HR Assistant(s) in their day to day delivery
  • Coach and mentor more junior members of the team
  • To meet changing client needs and deadlines, re-prioritising as necessary and working closely with the entire consulting team to ensure an effective service is provided

Salary: £30,000 – £45,000
Sector & Experience: Any sector – but must have good ER experience and the ability to multitask. Experience of working with large corporate organisations or with charities would be an advantage but is not a requirement
